✧ The Prophet's Information ﷺ about Resurrection Day and the People's States on that Day.

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنَ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو إِنَّكَ تَقُولُ إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ تَقُومُ إِلَى كَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ لَا أُحَدِّثَكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ إِنَّمَا قُلْتُ إِنَّكُمْ تَرَوْنَ بَعْدَ قَلِيلٍ أَمْرًا عَظِيمًا فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَخْرُجُ الدَّجَّالُ فِي أُمَّتِي فَيَمْكُثُ فِيهِمْ أَرْبَعِينَ لَا أَدْرِي أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ شَهْرًا فَيَبْعَثُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِمْ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ كَأَنَّهُ عُرْوَةُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ فَيَطْلُبُهُ فَيُهْلِكُهُ ثُمَّ يَمْكُثُ النَّاسُ بَعْدَهُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ لَيْسَ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ عَدَاوَةٌ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ اللَّهُ رِيحًا مِنْ قِبَلِ الشَّامِ فَلَا يَبْقَى أَحَدٌ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ مِنْ إِيمَانٍ إِلَّا قَبَضَتْهُ حَتَّى لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ كَانَ فِي كَبِدِ جَبَلٍ لَدَخَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ» قَدْ سَمِعْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ «وَيَبْقَى شِرَارُ النَّاسِ فِي خِفَّةِ الطَّيْرِ وَأَحْلَامِ السِّبَاعِ لَا يَعْرِفُونَ مَعْرُوفًا وَلَا يُنْكِرُونَ مُنْكَرًا فَيَتَمَثَّلُ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَيَأْمُرُهُمْ بِالْأَوْثَانِ فَيَعْبُدُونَهَا وَفِي ذَلِكَ دَارَّةٌ أَرْزَاقُهُمْ حَسَنٌ عَيْشُهُمْ ثُمَّ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ فَلَا يَسْمَعُهُ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا أَصْغَى ثُمَّ لَا يَبْقَى أَحَدٌ إِلَّا صَعِقَ ثُمَّ يُرْسِلُ اللَّهُ مَطَرًا كَأَنَّهُ الطَّلُّ أَوِ الظِّلُّ النُّعْمَانُ يَشُكُّ فَتَنْبُتُ مَعَهُ أَجْسَادُ النَّاسِ ثُمَّ يُنْفَخُ فِيهِ أُخْرَى فَإِذَا هُمْ قِيَامٌ يَنْظُرُونَ ثُمَّ يُقَالُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ هَلُمُّوا إِلَى رَبِّكِمْ {وَقِفُوهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ مَسْئُولُونَ} ثُمَّ يُقَالُ أَخْرِجُوا مِنْ بَعْثِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيُقَالُ كَمْ فَيُقَالُ مِنْ كُلُّ أَلْفٍ تِسْعَ مِائَةٍ وَتِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ فَيَوْمَئِذٍ يُبْعَثُ الْوِلْدَانُ شِيبًا وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يُكْشَفُ عَنْ سَاقٍ»

✧ I heard a man say to Abdullah b. Amr: "You claim that the Hour will come at such and such a time." He said: "I had determined not to tell you anything. I only said that you will soon see a great event." Then Abdullah b. Amr said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The Dajjal will appear among my nation and remain for forty—I do not know whether forty days, forty years, forty nights, or forty months. Allah will send Jesus son of Mary, who resembles Urwa b. Mas'ud al-Thaqafi. He will seek him and destroy him. Then people will remain for seven years with no enmity between two. Then Allah will send a wind from the direction of Syria that will take the soul of anyone with a mustard seed's weight of faith, even if one of you were inside a mountain, it would enter upon him." I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. "The worst of people will remain, in the lightness of birds and the minds of wild beasts. They will not recognize good or deny evil. Satan will appear to them and command them to worship idols, and they will worship them. In that time their provision will be abundant and their life pleasant. Then the trumpet will be blown. No one will hear it except he will listen. Then no one will remain except he will swoon. Then Allah will send rain like dew or shade—Nu'man was unsure—and the bodies of people will grow with it. Then it will be blown again, and suddenly they will be standing looking. Then it will be said: 'O people, come to your Lord. {And stop them; they are to be questioned.} [37:24]' Then it will be said: 'Bring out the share of the people of the Fire.' It will be said: 'How many?' It will be said: 'From every thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine.' On that day children will be resurrected with gray hair, and on that day the shin will be uncovered."
