أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْأُمَوِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بُرْدَةَ بْنُ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
خَرَجْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الْبَحْرِ حَتَّى جِئْنَا مَكَّةَ وَإِخْوَتِي مَعِي فِي خَمْسِينَ مِنَ الْأَشْعَرِيِّينَ وَسِتَّةٍ مِنْ عَكٍّ قَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ لِلنَّاسِ هِجْرَةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَكُمْ هِجْرَتَيْنِ»

✧ We set out to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ by sea until we came to Makkah, with my brothers and me among fifty from the Ashʿaris and six from ʿAkk. Abū Mūsā said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, «The people have one migration, but you have two migrations.»
