Translation

✧ “Excellent man, Abu Bakr; excellent man, ‘Umar; excellent man, Abu ‘Ubayda b. al-Jarrah; excellent man, Usayd b. Hudayr; excellent man, Thabit b. Qays b. Shammas; excellent man, Mu‘adh b. ‘Amr b. al-Jamuh. Wretched man, so-and-so and so-and-so.”
