أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي وَالْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ يَثِبَانِ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ فَيُبَاعِدُهُمَا النَّاسُ فَقَالَ ﷺ «دَعُوهُمَا بِأَبِي هُمَا وَأُمِّي مَنْ أَحَبَّنِي فَلْيُحِبَّ هَذَيْنِ»

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was praying while al-Hasan and al-Husayn were jumping on his back, and people were pushing them away. He ﷺ said, "Leave them, may my father and mother be their ransom. Whoever loves me, let him love these two."
