✧ The Prophet ﷺ went out during the illness in which he passed away, with a band around his head. He then sat on the pulpit and praised Allah and praised Him. He then said, "There is no one among the people who has not been entrusted with himself and his wealth except for Abu Bakr. If I were to take a close friend from the people, I would have taken Abu Bakr. But the companionship of Islam prevented me from anything other than the companionship of Abu Bakr in the mosque, except for the companionship of Abu Bakr."
