✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at the sky one day and said, "This is the time when knowledge will be lifted." A man from the Ansar called Labid b. Ziyad said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, will knowledge be lifted while it has been established and hearts have retained it?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "I had thought you were one of the most understanding of the people of Madinah." Then he mentioned the Jews and the Christians, despite what they had in their hands of the Book of Allah. He said: Then I met Shaddad b. Aws and told him the hadith of 'Awf b. Malik, and he said, "'Awf spoke the truth. Shall I not point out to you the first of that? Humility is lifted until you will not see anyone humble."
