✧ "Al-Hirah was shown to me like the fangs of dogs, and you will surely conquer it." A man stood up and said, "Grant me, O Messenger of Allah, the daughter of Buqaylah." He said, "She is yours." So they gave her to him. Then her father came and said, "Will you sell her?" He said, "Yes." He said, "For how much? Name your price as you wish." He said, "For a thousand dirhams." He said, "You have taken her." It was said to him, "If only you had said thirty thousand?" He said, "Is there any number greater than a thousand?"
