Tribulations and Incidents in the Ummah of the Prophet ﷺ

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ

«لَقَدْ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَقَامًا فَحَدَّثَنَا مَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ السَّاعَةِ مَا بِي أَقُولُ لَكُمْ إِنِّي كُنْتُ وَحْدِي لَقَدْ كَانَ مَعِي غَيْرِي حَفِظَ ذَاكَ مَنْ حَفِظَهُ وَنَسِيَهُ مَنْ نَسِيَهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ indeed stood and spoke to us about what will happen between us and the Hour. It is not that I am telling you I was alone; others were with me. Whoever memorized that, memorized it, and whoever forgot it, forgot it.
