حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُدَامَةَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي مَرَضِهِ «ادْعِي لِي أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَبَاكِ حَتَّى أَكْتُبَ فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَتَمَنَّى مُتَمَنٍّ وَيَقُولُ أَنَا أَوْلَى وَيَأْبَى اللَّهُ وَالْمُؤْمِنونَ إِلَّا أَبَا بَكْرٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said during his illness: "Call for me Abu Bakr, your father, so that I may write, for I fear that someone will wish and say: 'I am more entitled,' but Allah and the believers refuse except Abu Bakr."
