✧ We gave the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ladud during his illness, and he began gesturing to us: "Do not give me ladud." We said: "It is the patient's dislike of medicine." When he regained consciousness, he said: "Did I not forbid you to give me ladud?" We said: "It is the patient's dislike of medicine." He said: "No one shall remain in the house but that he is given ladud," and I was looking at Abbas, for he had not been present with them.
