أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ
«شَهِدْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَعَ أَصْحَابِهِ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَوْ بِالزَّوْرَاءِ فَأَرَادَ الْوَضُوءَ فَأُتِيَ بِقَعْبٍ فِيهِ مَاءٌ يَسِيرٌ فَوَضَعَ كَفَّهُ عَلَى الْقَعْبِ فَجَعَلَ الْمَاءُ يَنْبُعُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ ﷺ حَتَّى تَوَضَّأَ الْقَوْمُ»

✧ 'I witnessed the Prophet ﷺ with his companions in Madinah or at al-Zawra', and he wanted to perform ablution. A wooden bowl containing a little water was brought, and he placed his palm on the bowl. The water began to spring from between his fingers ﷺ until the people performed ablution.'
