أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنِ ابْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَمَّا دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ وَجَدَ بِهَا ثَلَاثَ مِائَةٍ وَسِتِّينَ صَنَمًا فَأَشَارَ بِعَصًا إِلَى كُلِّ صَنَمٍ وَقَالَ ﷺ «جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا» فَسَقَطَ الصَّنَمُ وَلَمْ يَمَسَّهُ

✧ "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered Makkah, he found three hundred and sixty idols. He pointed at each idol with a stick and said, 'The truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood is bound to perish.' Then the idols fell down and were not touched."
