أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ السَّعْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
سَأَلَهَا رَجُلٌ عَنْ مِيرَاثِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ «أَعَنْ مِيرَاثِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَسْأَلُنِي لَا أَبَا لَكَ؟ وَاللَّهِ مَا وَرِثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ دِينَارًا وَلَا دِرْهَمًا وَلَا عَبْدًا وَلَا أَمَةً وَلَا شَاةً وَلَا بَعِيرًا»

✧ A man asked her about the inheritance of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She said, "Are you asking me about the inheritance of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, may you have no father? By Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not inherit a dinar, nor a dirham, nor a slave, nor a slave girl, nor a sheep, nor a camel."
