أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الضُّبَعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَخْضِبُ إِنَّمَا كَانَ شَمَطٌ عِنْدَ الْعَنْفَقَةِ يَسِيرًا وَفِي الرَّأْسِ يَسِيرًا وَفِي الصُّدْغَيْنِ يَسِيرًا»

✧ “That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not dye; there was only a little gray at the anfaqah (hair just below the lower lip), a little on the head, and a little at the temples.”
