✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to al-Hijr, he said: "Do not ask your Prophet for signs. These are the people of Salih. They asked their Prophet for a sign, and the she-camel used to come to them from this mountain pass and leave from that mountain pass, and they would drink her milk on the day she came, as much as their water satisfied them. Then they hamstrung her, and they were promised three days, and it was a promise not to be belied. Then the Cry seized them, and there did not remain under the canopy of the sky a single man except that it destroyed him, except for one man in the Sanctuary whom the Sanctuary protected from the punishment of Allah." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, who is he?" He said: "Abu Righal, the father of Thaqif."
