Chain of narrators
- al-Faḍl b. al-Ḥubāb al-Jumaḥī
- Ibrāhīm b. Bashhār al-Ramādī
- Sufyān
- Ziyād b. ʿIlāqah
✧ I heard Usamah b. Sharik say: I witnessed the Prophet ﷺ while the bedouins were asking him, 'O Messenger of Allah, is there any blame on us in such-and-such?' twice. He said: 'Servants of Allah, Allah has removed hardship, except a man who borrows something from his brother's honor—that is the one who is in hardship.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, is there any blame on us if we seek medical treatment?' He said: 'Seek medical treatment, O servants of Allah, for Allah has not placed any disease except that He has placed for it a cure.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is the best thing given to a servant?' He said: 'Good character.' Sufyan said: 'There is no chain of narration on the face of the earth today better than this.'
