أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ
«الرُّؤْيَا جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ وَالرُّؤْيَا مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِرِجْلِ طَيْرٍ مَا لَمْ يُحَدِّثْ بِهَا صَاحِبُهَا فَإِذَا حَدَّثَ بِهَا وَقَعَتْ فَلَا تُحَدِّثْ بِهَا إِلَّا عَالِمًا أَوْ نَاصِحًا أَوْ حَبِيبًا»

✧ "Indeed, the Prophet (PBUH) said, 'Dreams are one part of seventy parts of Prophethood, and dreams are tied to the leg of a bird unless reported by the dreamer, and if reported it becomes true. So, do not report them except to a scholar, advisor, or loved one.'"
