أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ وَكِيعَ بْنَ عُدُسٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَمَّهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ

«رُؤْيَا الْمُسْلِمِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ وَهِيَ عَلَى رِجْلِ طَائِرٍ مَا لَمْ يُحَدِّثْ فَإِذَا حَدَّثَ بِهَا وَقَعَتْ»

✧ The dream of a Muslim is one of forty parts of prophethood, and it is on the foot of a bird as long as he does not relate it. When he relates it, it occurs.
