أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«لَا يَسْرِقُ السَّارِقُ حِينَ يَسْرِقُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَزْنِي الزَّانِي حِينَ يَزْنِي وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ حِينَ يَشْرَبُهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ وَلَا يَنْتَهِبُ نُهْبَةً ذَاتَ شَرَفٍ يَرْفَعُ إِلَيْهَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ وَهُوَ حِينَ يَنْتَهِبُهَا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَقْتُلُ أَحَدُكُمْ حِينَ يَقْتُلُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَإِيَّاكُمْ إِيَّاكُمْ»

✧ “The thief does not steal when he steals while he is a believer; the adulterer does not commit adultery when he commits it while he is a believer; the wine-drinker does not drink wine when he drinks it while he is a believer—by the One in whose hand is Muhammad’s soul—and no one snatches a prized plunder toward which the believers raise their eyes while he is a believer when he snatches it; and none of you kills when he kills while he is a believer. Beware, beware!”
