أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
كُنْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ فَكُنَّ يَأْتِينِي صَوَاحِبِي فَكُنَّ إِذَا رَأَيْنَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْقَمِعْنَ مِنْهُ فَكَانَ ﷺ يُسَرِّبُهُنَّ إِلَيَّ يَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي
Translation

✧ I used to play with dolls during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She said: My friends would come to me, and when they saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ they would shrink away from him. He ﷺ would send them to me, and they would play with me.
