✧ She said, "I sought permission from Abu Qais's brother to enter upon him after the veil descended, but I said: By Allah, I will not grant permission to him until I seek permission from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She added, "So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me and I said: O Messenger of Allah, Abu Qais's brother sought permission from me but I refused to grant him permission until I seek permission from you." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "And what prevents you from granting permission to your uncle?" She replied, "O Messenger of Allah, it was not him who breastfed me, it was his wife who breastfed me." He ﷺ said: "He is your uncle, grant him permission, for your right thigh is Haram to him." Urwah said: "That is why Aisha used to say: 'Forbidding what is forbidden by lineage should also be applied to breastfeeding.'"
