أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ قَحْطَبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الطُّفَاوِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ

جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِيَ ضَرَّةً فَهَلْ عَلَيَّ جُنَاحٌ إِنِ اسْتَكْثَرْتُ مِنْ زَوْجِي بِمَا لَمْ يُعْطِنِي؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ الْمُتَشَبِّعُ بِمَا لَمْ يُعْطَ كَلَابِسِ ثَوْبَيْ زُورٍ»

✧ A woman came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: «O Messenger of Allah, I have a co-wife. Is there any sin upon me if I ask for more from my husband than what he has given me?» The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: «The one who pretends to have been given what he was not given is like the wearer of two garments of falsehood.»
