✧ What is disliked from speech and what is not disliked?

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ

«الْمُؤْمِنُ الْقَوِيُّ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ الضَّعِيفِ وَكُلٌّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ احْرِصْ عَلَى مَا يَنْفَعُكَ وَلَا تَعْجِزْ فَإِنْ غَلَبَكَ شَيْءٌ فَقُلْ قَدَرُ اللَّهِ وَمَا شَاءَ وَإِيَّاكَ وَاللَّوَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّوَّ تَفْتَحُ عَمَلَ الشَّيْطَانِ»

✧ The strong believer is more beloved to God than the weak believer, and in each there is good. Be eager for what benefits you, and do not be helpless. If something overwhelms you, then say, 'God's decree and what He wills.' Beware of 'if only,' for 'if only' opens the work of Satan.
