أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ عَنْ أَبِي حَرْبِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«إِذَا غَضِبَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ فَلْيَجْلِسْ فَإِنْ ذَهَبَ عَنْهُ الْغَضَبُ وَإِلَّا فَلْيَضْطَجِعْ»

✧ “If one of you becomes angry while standing, let him sit down. If the anger leaves him, then fine; otherwise let him lie down.”
