أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ صَاعِقَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ

مَرَّ حِمَارٌ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَدْ كُوِيَ فِي وَجْهِهِ تَفُورُ مَنْخِرَاهُ مِنْ دَمٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ فَعَلَ هَذَا» ثُمَّ نَهَى عَنِ الْكَيِّ فِي الْوَجْهِ وَالضَّرْبِ فِي الْوَجْهِ

✧ A donkey passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that had been cauterized on its face, its nostrils bleeding. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “May Allah curse the one who did this.” Then he forbade cauterizing on the face and striking on the face.
