أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ
«أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ اسْتَأْذَنَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الْحِجَامَةِ فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَبَا طَيْبَةَ أَنْ يَحْجُمَهَا وَقَالَ حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كَانَ أَخَاهَا مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةَ أَوْ غُلَامًا لَمْ يَحْتَلِمْ»

✧ Umm Salamah asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for permission to undergo cupping, so the Prophet ﷺ ordered Abu Taybah to cup her, and he said—I think he said that he was her foster brother or a boy who had not reached puberty.
