✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the delegation of Abd al-Qays from nabidh in gourds, green jars, pitch-coated vessels, hollowed stumps, and water-skins cut open at the mouth. And he said: 'Make nabidh in your water-skin, tie its mouth, and drink it sweet and pleasant.' A man said, 'O Messenger of Allah, permit me in the like of this,' and al-Nadr gestured with his palm. He said, 'Then you would make it like this,' and al-Nadr gestured with the length of his arm.
