✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by my father while he was on a white mule. He took hold of its reins and said: Alight with me, O Messenger of Allah. So he alighted with him. He said: Then he brought them hais, and they ate it. Then he brought them dates. He said: The Prophet ﷺ began to eat and to say with the pits like this, turning them, and Shu'ba joined his two fingers. Then they brought him a drink, and he drank, then handed it to the one on his right. Then he said: “O Allah, bless them in what You have provided them, forgive them, and have mercy on them.”
