أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءٌ وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءٌ وَإِنَّهُ يَتَّقِي بِجَنَاحِهِ الَّذِي فِيهِ الدَّاءُ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ كُلَّهُ ثُمَّ لِيَنْزِعْهُ»

✧ If a fly falls into the vessel of one of you, let him dip it in completely, for in one of its wings is disease and in the other is healing. It protects itself with the wing containing the disease, so let him dip it all the way in, then remove it.
