أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ الْحَافِظُ بِتُسْتَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْخَلَاءِ فَطَعِمَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَتَوَضَّأَ؟ فَقَالَ ﷺ «إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ فَأَتَوَضَّأَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out of the privy and ate. It was said to him, 'Before you perform ablution?' He ﷺ said, 'I intend to pray, so I will perform ablution.'
