machine translationAl-Zuhrī narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Yūnus, al-Zubaydī, Maʿmar, ʿAbd al-Wahhāb b. Rafīʿ, Shuʿayb b. Abī Ḥamzah, Ibn al-Hād and Ṣāliḥ b. Abī al-Akhḍar narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from Saʿīd b. al-Musayyab, from Abū Hurayrah. Likewise al-Qudāmī, whose name is ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad b. Rabīʿah, narrated it from Mālik, from al-Zuhrī. Baḥr al-Saqqāʾ narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from Saʿīd and Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurayrah. Ibrāhīm b. Saʿd narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from Saʿīd as a mursal report (mursal). The correct view is that of those who said: from Saʿīd alone, from Abū Hurayrah.
