أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي غَيْلَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ فَرَاهِيجَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ
«مَا زَالَ جِبْرِيلُ يُوصِينِي بِالْجَارِ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ سَيُوَرِّثُهُ»
