✧ The beauty of character

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَمْ يَكُنْ فَاحِشًا وَلَا مُتَفَاحِشًا وَكَانَ يَقُولُ «خِيَارُكُمْ أَحَاسِنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا»

✧ Indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was neither foul-mouthed nor one who deliberately uttered obscenities, and he used to say: "The best of you are those with the best character."
