أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

أَبْصَرَ الْأَقْرَعُ بْنُ حَابِسٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُقَبِّلُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ فقَالَ إِنَّ لِي عَشْرَةً مِنَ الْوَلَدِ مَا قَبَّلْتُ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ؟ فقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمْ لَا يُرْحَمْ»

✧ Al-Aqra‘ b. Habis al-Tamimi saw the Prophet ﷺ kissing al-Hasan b. ‘Ali, so he said, “I have ten children and I have never kissed any of them.” The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.”
