أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْمَقَابِرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ فَالْأَمِيرُ الَّذِي عَلَى النَّاسِ رَاعٍ عَلَيْهِمْ وَهُوَ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْهُمْ وَالرَّجُلُ رَاعِي أَهْلَ بَيْتِهِ وَهُوَ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْهُمْ وَالْمَرْأَةُ رَاعِيَةٌ عَلَى بَيْتِ بَعْلِهَا وَوَلَدِهِ وَهِيَ مَسْؤُولَةٌ عَنْهُمْ وَعَبْدُ الرَّجُلِ رَاعٍ عَلَى مَالِ سَيِّدِهِ وَهُوَ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْهُ فَكُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وكُلُّكُمْ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ»

✧ «Every one of you is a shepherd and every one of you is responsible for his flock. The amir who is over the people is a shepherd over them and is responsible for them. A man is a shepherd over his household and is responsible for them. A woman is a shepherd over her husband's house and his child and is responsible for them. A man's slave is a shepherd over his master's property and is responsible for it. Every one of you is a shepherd and every one of you is responsible for his flock.»
