أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيَّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«إِنَّ الرَّحِمَ شِجْنَةٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ» تَقُولُ أَيْ رَبِّ إِنِّي ظُلِمْتُ إِنِّي أُسِيءَ إِلَيَّ إِنِّي قُطِعْتُ قَالَ فَيُجِيبُهَا رَبُّهَا «أَلَا تَرْضَيْنَ أَنْ أَقْطَعَ مَنْ قَطَعَكِ وَأَصِلَ مَنْ وَصَلَكِ»

✧ The womb is a branch of the Most Merciful. When the Day of Resurrection comes, it says, 'O Lord, I have been wronged, I have been mistreated, I have been severed.' He said, 'Then its Lord answers it, "Are you not pleased that I cut off whoever cuts you off and join whoever joins you?"'

Abū Jaʿfar al-Rāzī narrated it from ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār, from Bashīr b. Yasār, from Abū Hurayrah. It is also said, from Abū Jaʿfar al-Rāzī, from ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār, from Sulaymān b. Yasār, and that is not preserved (maḥfūẓ). ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār narrated it from his father, from Abū Ṣāliḥ al-Sammān, from Abū Hurayrah, as a mursal report (mursal). Mūsā b. ʿUqbah narrated it, and there is disagreement about him: Abū Qurrah Mūsā b. Ṭāriq narrated it from Mūsā b. ʿUqbah, from ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār, from Abū Hurayrah, as a mursal report. The closest of these to the correct one is the version of Warqāʾ, from ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār, from Saʿīd b. Yasār, from Abū Hurayrah, because the hadith is preserved (maḥfūẓ) from him. Muʿāwiyah b. Abī al-Muzarrid also narrated it from Saʿīd b. Yasār, from Abū Hurayrah.
