أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُكْرَمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

«حَلَفَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ لَيَطُوفَنَّ عَلَى مِائَةِ امْرَأَةٍ كُلُّ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ تَحْمِلُ غُلَامًا يُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ فَلَمْ تَحْمِلْ مِنْهُنَّ إِلَّا امْرَأَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ نِصْفَ غُلَامٍ» فَقَالَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَوْ قَالَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ كَانَ كَمَا قَالَ»

✧ "Sulayman b. Dawud swore: 'I will go around to one hundred women, each of whom will bear a boy who will fight in the path of Allah.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'If he had said: If Allah wills, it would have been as he said.'"
