✧ Marriage of the disbelievers

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
أَسْلَمَ غَيْلَانُ الثَّقَفِيُّ وَعِنْدَهُ عَشْرُ نِسْوَةٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَمْسِكْ أَرْبَعًا وَفَارِقْ سَائِرَهُنَّ»

✧ Ghaylan al-Thaqafi accepted Islam while he had ten wives, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Keep four, and separate from the rest.”
