✧ The sanctity of marriage

أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مَطَرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «تَزَوَّجَ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهُوَ حَلَالٌ وَبَنَى بِهَا وَهُوَ حَلَالٌ وَكُنْتُ الرَّسُولَ بَيْنَهُمَا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married Maymunah while he was not in a state of ihram, and consummated the marriage with her while not in a state of ihram. I was the messenger between them.
