أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ
أَنَّ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ حُيَيٍّ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَاضَتْ فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أَحَابِسَتُنَا هِيَ؟ » فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّهَا قَدْ أَفَاضَتْ قَالَ «فَلَا إِذًا»

✧ Safiyyah bt. Huyayy, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, menstruated. This was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, "Is she holding us back?" It was said to him, "She has already performed the ifadah." He said, "Then no."
