✧ "I heard the Prophet ﷺ say more than twenty times, 'Dhul-Kifl, from the Children of Israel, did not hesitate about anything, so he desired a woman and fell into a sin with her. He gave her sixty dinars. When he left her, she cried and repented. Dhul-Kifl regretted his actions and died that same night. In the morning, they found a note on his door saying, 'Indeed, Allah has forgiven you.'"

machine translationAbū Bakr b. ʿAyyāsh said, from al-Aʿmash, from ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbdillāh, from Saʿīd b. Jubayr, from Ibn ʿUmar, from the Prophet ﷺ. But he erred in saying "Saʿīd b. Jubayr"; the correct reading is "from Saʿīd, the freed slave of Ṭalḥah".
