✧ Chapter: The Departure from Mecca to Mina

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ الْأَزْرَقُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أَخْبِرْنِي عَنْ شَيْءٍ عَقَلْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَيْنَ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ يَوْمَ التَّرْوِيَةِ؟ قَالَ «بِمِنًى» قَالَ قُلْتُ فَأَيْنَ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ يَوْمَ النَّفْرِ؟ قَالَ «بِالْأَبْطَحِ»

✧ I asked Anas b. Malik: “Inform me about something you observed from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: Where did he pray Zuhr on the Day of Tarwiyah?” He said: “At Mina.” He said: “I said: ‘Where did he pray Zuhr on the Day of Nafr?’” He said: “At al-Abtah.”
