Sahih Ibn Hibban 380

✧ Chapter: Mentioning Allah's preparation for His obedient servants which cannot be described by their senses.

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى

إِذَا هَمَّ عَبْدِي بِحَسَنَةٍ فَاكْتُبُوهَا حَسَنَةً فَإِذَا عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا وَإِذَا هَمَّ عَبْدِي بِسَيِّئَةٍ فَلَا تَكْتُبُوهَا بِمِثْلِهَا فَإِنْ تَرَكَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا حَسَنَةً»

✧ When My servant intends a good deed, write it as a good deed. When he does it, write it as ten times its like. And when My servant intends an evil deed, do not write it as its like. If he abandons it, write it as a good deed.
