كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ الْمِسْكِ فِي مَفْرِقِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ

machine translationThere is disagreement over Ibrāhīm al-Nakhaʿī regarding its chain of transmission and its text. Manṣūr, al-Aʿmash, al-Ḥakam, al-Zubayr b. ʿAdī, ʿAṭāʾ b. al-Sāʾib and Muḥammad b. Qays narrated it from Ibrāhīm, from al-Aswad, from ʿĀʾishah. Ḥammād b. Abī Sulaymān also narrated it, and there is disagreement about him: al-Thawrī, ʿUmar b. ʿĀmir, Hishām al-Dastuwāʾī, Abū Isrāʾīl al-Mulāʾī and Ibn Abī ʿArūbah narrated it, and Shuʿbah, about whom there is disagreement, narrated from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm, from al-Aswad, from ʿĀʾishah. Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān and Rawḥ b. ʿUbādah said that from Shuʿbah, while Ghundar said, from ʿUbādah, from Shuʿbah, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm, from ʿĀʾishah. It was also said, from Abū ʿAwānah, from Mughīrah, from Ibrāhīm, from al-Aswad, from ʿĀʾishah. And al-Ḥasan b. ʿUbayd Allāh said, from Ibrāhīm, from al-Aswad, from ʿĀʾishah, and he said in its text: "It is as if I am looking at the gleam of musk in the parting of the head of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." No one else besides him said this from Ibrāhīm. The correct version from Ibrāhīm is the statement of those who said: from al-Aswad, from ʿĀʾishah.
