✧ When the people saw the first fruits, they would bring them to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took them, he would say, “O Allah, bless us in our fruits, bless us in our city, and bless us in our ṣāʿ and our mudd. O Allah, indeed Ibrāhīm was Your servant, Your close friend, and Your prophet, and I am Your servant and Your prophet. He supplicated to You for Makkah, and I supplicate to You for Madinah with the like of what he supplicated for Makkah, and the like of it along with it.” Then he would call the youngest child he saw and give him those fruits.
