أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْوَانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْعُثْمَانَيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَاعُنَا أَصْغَرُ الصِّيعَانِ وَمُدُّنَا أَصْغَرُ الْأَمْدَادِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي صَاعِنَا وَمُدِّنَا وَقَلِيلِنَا وَكَثِيرِنَا وَاجْعَلْ مَعَ الْبَرَكَةِ بَرَكَتَيْنِ»

✧ It was said, “O Messenger of Allah, our ṣāʿ is the smallest of the ṣāʿs, and our mudd is the smallest of the mudds.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “O Allah, bless us in our ṣāʿ and our mudd, our little and our much, and place with the blessing two blessings.”
