✧ al-Itikaf and Laylat al-Qadr

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ وَصَامَهُ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَمَنْ قَامَ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»

Translation

  4. Muḥammad b. ʿAmr
  5. Abū Salamah
  6. Abū Hurayrah
  7. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ “Whoever stands in prayer during Ramadan and fasts it out of faith and seeking reward, his past sins will be forgiven; and whoever stands in prayer on Laylat al-Qadr out of faith and seeking reward, his past sins will be forgiven.”
