✧ I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him about fasting. He said, "Fast one day of every month, and you will have the reward of the rest." I said, "I can bear more than that." He said, "Fast two days of every month, and you will have the reward of the rest." I said, "I can bear more than that." He said, "Fast three days of every month, and you will have the reward of the rest." I said, "I can bear more than that." He said, "Indeed, the most beloved fasting to Allah is the fast of Dawud.
