✧ A chapter on the perpetual fasting.

أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«مَنْ صَامَ الْأَبَدَ فَلَا صَامَ وَلَا أَفْطَرَ»

✧ Whoever fasts perpetually, he has neither fasted nor broken his fast.
