✧ Cupping for the fasting person

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ أَبَا طَيْبَةَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ مَعَ غَيْبُوبَةِ الشَّمْسِ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَضَعَ الْمَحَاجِمَ مَعَ إِفْطَارِ الصَّائِمِ فَحَجَمَهُ ثُمَّ سَأَلَهُ «كَمْ خَرَاجُكَ» قَالَ صَاعَيْنِ فَوَضَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْهُ صَاعًا

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ commanded Abu Taybah to come to him at sunset, and he ordered him to apply the cupping glasses at the time of the fasting person's breaking the fast. So he cupped him, then he asked him, "How much is your tax?" He said, "Two sa's." So the Prophet ﷺ reduced one sa' from him.
